WeVu

WeVu, cloud software developed from the Collaborative Learning Annotation System (CLAS) at UBC-Vancouver, focusses on hands-on skills learning where students self-record video using a camera or their phones and instructors provide time-stamped feedback and assessment. Users include health professions, business communication, trades education, and performing arts. WeVu also accommodates the collaborative annotation of audio, images, and PDF. Media files can be uploaded into the software or can be imported from YouTube, Dropbox, or other servers. WeVu also provides user activity logs, allowing .csv download of user activity and time-stamped and general comments.

A free version of WeVu is available, limited to 1 site per site owner (unlimited site members) and with videos stored externally on YouTube or Dropbox.
